Yang Hyun Suk Hints at Big Bang’s Future Music Style
YG Entertainment’s CEO, Yang Hyun Suk, hinted at that Big Bang will change their music style in order to be recognized as musicians rather than idols.
Recently Big Bang extended their contracts with YG Entertainment for another 5 years, which made Yang Hyun Suk as well as various people from the music industry very happy. Yang Hyun Suk thanked the members of Big Bang for their decision to continue their career with YG Entertainment as label by saying,“I just want to take the time to thank the five members of Big Bang for showing their trust in our company. We won’t be holding back in our support to ensure that the boys will be presenting their fans with amazing music.”
The company and Big Bang discussed and set new agreements which have been recorded on the members’ renewed contracts.
As they said in various interviews, Big Bang wants to gain recognition as musicians rather than idols or senior idols. That is why in order to obtain this aim they are expected to run a new path in the music industry.
“The Big Bang members have extended their contracts to another 5 years, and they will be creating a different music style. The members have promised to work even harder in order to be recognized as artists rather than idols”, Yang Hyun Suk said.
Big Bang will have their first comeback stage on SBS’ Inkigayo tomorrow.
