Jay Park Reveals Why He Does Not Contact 2PM

Jay Park Reveals Why He Does Not Contact 2PM

Once again Jay Park is questioned about 2PM and the reasons why he is not in contact with them.

Jay Park recently hold an interview with Newsen, which some fans found a bit rude because it has some unnecessary questions and remarks.

The article started praising Jay for his first place on music show. However it later mentioned that he finally caught the public’s eyes who were uninterested in him before.

They continued saying that he was receiving so mush attention is because he used to be a member of 2PM. The article also mentioned that he was ‘thrown out’ due to a ‘scandal’ and that he turned his back to his previous group. They also mentioned that their previous friendship relationship has now turned into the one of strangers that can not even exchange a hello.

During a recent interview the person holding it mentioned that he tried to take the topic of 2PM while questioning him about his current activities.

The reporter continued by saying that even though it was uncomfortable for him he had to ask about 2PM a bit. Jay jokingly replied that if it was uncomfortable then he should not talk about it. The writer also said that since he smiled when he heard the word 2PM he supposed that he was saying that he was ready to answer and Jay also replied that he was not uncomfortable so could proceed with his question.

They asked Jay if it was true that he did not keep in touch with 2PM, which he coolly responded saying he was right. According to the writer opinion he showed an ‘uncaring’ and ‘not-big-of-a-deal’ attitude. He continued by asking him that if the 2PM members did not contact him, would not it be good for him to contact them first, and Jay actually asked him if it is the case then the members can also do it first.

The interviwer did not stop there and asked him ‘what’s the biggest reason you don’t contact them first?’, luckily Jay has learned how to manage the press and repluied with a simple ‘just because’. After that the reported insisted since he thought Jay heard wrong and asked him once again if it was ‘just because?’, to which nodded and replied with the same answer. The reported then stated that he thought it was meaningless to keep answering him.

Jay finished the interview saying that he will be really glad if he meets the members of 2PM during a broadcats. He mentioned that he run into 2AM’s Jo Kwon during Inkigayo and that both of them talked for a bit. However for the time being a meeting is quite difficult since 2PM is promoting in Japan.

It is a bit difficult for the fans that reporters are always asking the same questions to Jay over and over again, and in this particular case, they thought that the one in charge of the interview was a bit rude, since during the whole article it seemed like he only wanted to get some gossips instead of talking about Jay’s development in the industry. On the good side Jay has learned how to manage this situations, which made his fans feel less worried about him.

2NE1, 2PM, BEAST, SHINee, TVXQ and Big Bang’s facial expressions compared with cartoon characters

A hilarious compilation of idols vs. cartoon characters has surfaced on the internet and created a lot of buzz. 2NE1’s Minzy is being compared to a cute doll, while Wooyoung’s chubby cheeks are compared to that of a monkey. Going further down the list, the trademark smiles of Big Bang’s Daesung, BEAST’s Yoseob, SNSD’s Jessica, 2PM’s Junsu and Chansung are being compared with various cartoon characters’ expressions. SHINee’s Onew and Minho’s hairstyles look slightly similar to that of a particular Pokemon. Rounding out the list, TVXQ’s Changmin is compared to Spongebob Squarepants’s Squidward and Big Bang’s Taeyang resembles Mashi Maro. However, it’s up to fans’ judgment to decide who fits which character.

Dream Concert starts to reveal official line-up

Last week, Koreaboo reported about the Korea Entertainment Producers’ Association’s official press release concerning the “I Love You Korea 2011 Dream Concert”.

After a fake list of performers started to be spread around the Internet, the announcement from KEPA pointed out that only TVXQ, 2PM, IU and 4Minute were officially confirmed as part of the line-up at that time.

Dream Concert’s official site was recently revamped to include a larger list of performers for this year’s concert. The concert is to be held on May 28th at 6:30 p.m. at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

The performers who have been confirmed so far are TVXQ, 2PM, miss A, 4minute, BEAST, Secret, SISTAR, CN BLUE, IU, After School, U-Kiss, G.NA, KARA, K.Will and T-ara. On the 29th, Dream Concert’s official Twitter had also included FT Island and f(x) on the list of confirmed performers, but the two groups do not currently appear on the website.

There also seems to be some confusion with Star Empire’s ZE:A and Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea. On some parts of the website, the boys of ZE:A are listed as performers, but under the “2011 Dream Concert Artist” section, Jea is listed and ZE:A isn’t. More performers will be revealed during this week, and the situation will hopefully get cleared up soon.

KBS to Air New Musical Variety Program

KBS to Air New Musical Variety Program

KBS has recently announced that they will soon launch a sequel to the variety program “Immortal Song”, entitled “Immortal Song 2”. However, this time around, all musical participants will be idols.

KBS has recently announced their plans to launch a new singing variety program featuring an all-idol cast by the name of “Immortal Song 2”. According to a KBS representative idols such as SHINee’s Jong Hyun, 2PM’s Jun Su, 2AM’s Chang Min, SISTAR’s Hyo Rin, and BEAST’s Yo Seob are currently being considered as the main line-up.

“Immortal Song 2” will be a sequel to “Immortal Song”, which ran from 2007 to 2009 and featured two legendary Korean vocalists Tak Jae Hoon and Shin Jung Hwan. In the program, they taught others how to properly sing their own hit songs, and “Immortal Song 2” will follow similar guidelines, except the participants will be Hallyu idols.

On April 29th, the program’s producer, Kwon Jae Young, explained, “Singers who are considered legendary will be viewing the musical performances of idol singers singing the judges’ songs. They will then judge the idols and give them suggestions. In turn, the participating idols will be given the opportunity to display a more diversified set of abilities, and will be able to show their weekly improvements to viewers.” He continued to clarify, “It is completely different from ‘I Am a Singer’. It is not an elimination-based program in which the participants will have to survive from week to week. It is a ‘nice’ variety show that doesn’t require such a difficult processes.”

There are three rules idol participants will have to adhere to on “Immortal Song 2”. First is that they will not be able to utilize additional talents they may have, as this is a strictly vocal program. Second, they will not be able to imitate their senior vocalists. They will have to choose a song from a senior vocalist and present it in their own style, as producers agreed that it would be too easy for viewers to criticize the idols if they were to simply imitate the original singers. And third, the idol participants can not show their distress in any way. Although it is understood that a competitive mindset is bound to develop, they are not allowed to reveal this at any point during the show in order to maintain a “friendly” viewing atmosphere.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to “Immortal Song 2”?
