After their successful return to the industry earlier this year with “Back It Up”, Jewelry is back with their newest single “Pass”.
Despite the concept photos and promise that Jewelry would return with a new softer image, “Pass” has a strong beat that is associated with Jewelry’s previous releases.
It certainly looks like we haven’t heard the last of Jewelry’s comeback, as the group will most likely release more material related to their “fantasy concept”.

With the disaster in Japan causing many companies to either delay their artists’ Japanese debuts or return focus to Korea, Star Empire, parent company of artists including Z:EA and Nine Muses, has released a statement explaining their handling of the situation.
In their official message, which was posted on ZE:A’s fancafe page, the company said that “After considerations of the local situation in Japan, the protection of the agency’s artists and the worry of the fans, it has been decided that the schedule will be temporarily delayed.” They went on to state that the activities would continue at a later point. “However, after the improvement of Japan’s situation, Star Empire will determine and re-coordinate the schedule of performances. When the schedule has been fixed, an official notice will be put up.” Though ZE:A was the only artist set with activities, it was presumed that it also affected any chances of Jewelry and Nine Muses’ activities as well.
What are your reactions to their statement?

This time rumors are floating around that Star Empire, the entertainment company of ZE:A, Nine Muses and Jewelry, will be debuting another boy band later this year.
At ZE:A’s recent showcase the 4-member band was revealed as IMPACT, and they will most likely follow in the footsteps of JYP’s ballad band 2AM.
And even though nothing has been confirmed, netizens have been able to discover that we’ve already seen one member in another band before.
Byun Jangmoon was originally a member of the disbanded idol group A’ST1. They released their first single “18.104.22.168 Back” in 2008. The band consisted of 4 Korean members (Jungjin, Inkyu, Jangmoon, and Hanbyul), 1 Chinese member, Haiming, and a Japanese member, Tomo. Entertainment company DSP Entertainment decided to pull the plug of A’ST1 in November 2009. Three of its members are still with DSP and have a possibility of returning with DSP’s next idol group.
