miss A’s “Love Alone” takes #1 on real-time music charts

miss A’s new song, “Love Alone”, has been receiving a hot response since its release, crowning itself at the top spots of real-time music charts.

“Love Alone” was released around noon on May 2nd, and it reached the #1 spot on music sites like Bugs.”

The next day, on May 3rd, it took #1 on the daily charts of Bugs, Daum Music, Dosirak, and monkey3, while placing in the Top 10 of others. This deed has surprised many as the song it’s not miss A’s official comeback track and it was completely recorded in English to keep the feeling of the original. The song was composed by German producer Fuego and written by Ursula Yancy.

“Love Alone” is a trendy dance-pop song that expresses an intense love for a man with impressive straightforward lyrics. The song will be part of miss A’s performance at Kim Yuna’s “KCC Switzen All That Skate Spring 2011” to be held from May 6 thru 8 at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium.

On this show miss A will appear as special guest. They’ll perform “Love Alone” for the first time, after Kim Yuna’s performance of Beyonce’s “Fever.” They will then move on to the finale with a “Bad Girl Good Girl” and “Breathe” remix, where all the skaters of the show will take the stage. Fans will also be able to enjoy the ice skating show of the 8th, live on SBS at 6:00PM (KST).

miss A were quoted saying they were very pleased to make their new album’s song public through Kim Yuna’s show. They also said they would show the best stage possible and were working hard for everyone to anticipate something different.

Meanwhile, the group is expected to release their first full length album at the end of May in Korea, and later in Chinese areas. The album will include “Love Alone” and other dance songs, including their unannounced official promotional track produced by JYP. They are also expected to impress once again with their fun choreography for their title track, just like their previous hits.

miss A reveals their first English song, “Love Alone”

Ahead of their comeback, miss A (Fei, Jia, Min, Suzy) have released the song “Love Alone.” A few days ago, JYP had blogged a few second preview to miss A’s upcoming single that will be released sometimes in May for their comeback. This has had fans anticipate their comeback even more.

miss A made their debut in July 2010 with “Bad Girl Good Girl” and shot right to the top. They were a hit. “Love Alone” is a trendy pop-dance song and was composed by the famous German producer Fuego and has attracted much attention. Fuego ranked No.1 on the Billboard Singles Chart in 2009 with Jason DeRulo’s “Watcha Say.”

The song “Alone Love” was recorded entirely in English and is for Kim Yuna’s “KCC Switzen All That Skate Spring 2011.” The group will perform this on Kim Yuna’s show on May 6 thru 8th and will be part of their upcoming album.

Dream Concert starts to reveal official line-up

Last week, Koreaboo reported about the Korea Entertainment Producers’ Association’s official press release concerning the “I Love You Korea 2011 Dream Concert”.

After a fake list of performers started to be spread around the Internet, the announcement from KEPA pointed out that only TVXQ, 2PM, IU and 4Minute were officially confirmed as part of the line-up at that time.

Dream Concert’s official site was recently revamped to include a larger list of performers for this year’s concert. The concert is to be held on May 28th at 6:30 p.m. at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

The performers who have been confirmed so far are TVXQ, 2PM, miss A, 4minute, BEAST, Secret, SISTAR, CN BLUE, IU, After School, U-Kiss, G.NA, KARA, K.Will and T-ara. On the 29th, Dream Concert’s official Twitter had also included FT Island and f(x) on the list of confirmed performers, but the two groups do not currently appear on the website.

There also seems to be some confusion with Star Empire’s ZE:A and Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea. On some parts of the website, the boys of ZE:A are listed as performers, but under the “2011 Dream Concert Artist” section, Jea is listed and ZE:A isn’t. More performers will be revealed during this week, and the situation will hopefully get cleared up soon.

JYP gives surprise preview of miss A’s new song

miss A fans have received an unexpected preview of the girls’ new song from the big man himself, JYP.

On April 28th, JYP tweeted that he had just landed in Los Angeles for recordings. Fans were unsure about what recordings he was referring to, but many guessed that they had something to do with either the Wonder Girls or himself.

The next day, he revealed that he had worked on miss A’s new song and was currently working on 2PM’s. He also said that on Saturday it would be time for Wonder Girls new music, and on Sunday he would leave Los Angeles, but not before he was going to work in a “secret project.”

Apparently, it wasn’t enough for JYP to tweet about it as he also surprised everyone by uploading a video of him at the studio with Grammy winning mixing engineer Manny Marroquin, who has worked with artist like Whitney Houston, 2PAC, Alicia Keys, Usher, Kanye West, Rihanna, Bruno Mars and many more. JYP’s excitement was so big that he decided to give his me2day followers a taste of miss A’s new song, action that had some commenting if he had gone crazy.

Major details about miss A’s comeback haven’t been revealed other than the fact that they will return in mid-May. May is just one day away, and it looks like the teasing is about to start with JYP throwing the first rock. From the really short preview of the track, where JYP’s intro and the word “goodbye” can be heard, one can tell that it will be an upbeat track different from both “Bad Girl Good Girl” and “Breathe.”

5dolls Eunkyo, miss A’s Suzy, and Girl’s Day’s Hyeri pose together at their high school’s library

Recently, an online community bulletin board posted a group photo of 5dolls’ Eunkyo, miss A’s Suzy and Girl’s Day Hyeri at school.

In the photos, the three students from Seoul’s School of Performing Arts (SOPA) are seen wearing their school’s yellow jacket and black skirt while showing their cute “V” pose. The photo has also garnered a lot of attention for their bright hair colors, especially Eunkyo’s red and Suzy’s blonde hair, that are usually not allowed in normal schools.

Besides noticing the variety of the school girls’ hair colors, netizens commented about their awkward expression and pointed out that f(x)’s Sulli also studies there.

But in the photo, there are also two young men with blurred faces. Upon further investigation it was discovered that these two students are magician Ha Jaeyong and actor Lee Ilmin.

Lee Ilmin has appeared in dramas like MBC “Assorted Gems,” and most recently, in KBS “I Believe in Love,” which is currently airing. Meanwhile, the 17 year old Ha Jaeyong performs his magic acts around the world and has won numerous awards as one of the best magicians.

The group photo was taken on April 22nd during an important visit to the school, where 36 delegates received a tour of the facilities and were also able to meet some of the school’s stars at the library and take photos with them.

Take a look at some of the photos below.

From the looks of it, we could say that SOPA might be the closest thing to a real life Kirin Arts High School like KBS “Dream High”, don’t you think?
