2NE1, 2PM, BEAST, SHINee, TVXQ and Big Bang’s facial expressions compared with cartoon characters
A hilarious compilation of idols vs. cartoon characters has surfaced on the internet and created a lot of buzz. 2NE1’s Minzy is being compared to a cute doll, while Wooyoung’s chubby cheeks are compared to that of a monkey. Going further down the list, the trademark smiles of Big Bang’s Daesung, BEAST’s Yoseob, SNSD’s Jessica, 2PM’s Junsu and Chansung are being compared with various cartoon characters’ expressions. SHINee’s Onew and Minho’s hairstyles look slightly similar to that of a particular Pokemon. Rounding out the list, TVXQ’s Changmin is compared to Spongebob Squarepants’s Squidward and Big Bang’s Taeyang resembles Mashi Maro. However, it’s up to fans’ judgment to decide who fits which character.
Netizens who saw this post left comments such as, “Woo Young really looks like a monkey,” “I burst out laughing when I saw the Jessica-Cappy comparison,” and “They all resemble the characters 100%!”

Dal★Shabet’s Su Bin was Part of Taeyang’s ‘I Need a Girl’
Su Bin pre debut appearance on Taeyang’s ‘I Need a Girl’ MV has surely caught the attention of netizens.
She was one of the models around G-Dragon. Her fresh looks were able to make her stand out among the other models.
It has also been discovered that she was only sixteen when the MV was filmed, but her height was around the 175cm, which allowed her a place as a model.
Now Su Bin joins the list of ‘Giant Babies’ with f(x)’s Sulli and Kara’s Ji Young.

Idol Chart Show ranks hottest idol bodies
On April 20, MNET’s Idol Chart Show revealed rankings for the celebrities with the best bodies; Rain came in first, followed by G.NA who is notorious for her enviable figure.
Two members of Big Bang made the list – Daesung ranked 13th and Taeyang ranked 15th. Additionally, two members of 2AM made the list – Changmin ranked 5th and Seulong ranked 17th. Big Bang and 2PM are the only groups to have more than one member on the top 20 list.

T.O.P Can Hit Highest Notes Among Big Bang Members
During their appearance on MBC’s radio program, Park Kyung Rim’s Star Night, Big Bang members revealed that, although he has such a low voice, T.O.P was the one who can the highest notes among them.
Big Bang appeared on MBC’s radio program, Park Kyung Lim’s Star Night, on 20th April. When a listener asked, “While T.O.P has a sexy low voice, how high of a note can he hit?”, Taeyang was the first to confess, “Among Big Bang members, T.O.P can hit the highest notes and has the sharpest voice.”
Then G-Dragon added, “More so than being loud, I usually feel that his voice is extremely loud. The microphone probably won’t be able to bear it for long.”
“It’s more like shouting”, Daesung commented.
T.O.P himself admitted, “I can’t demonstrate it here but when I record I tend to rip speakers.”
DJ, Park Kyung Lim, was really surprised hearing this and asked T.O.P when she and other listeners will be able to hear his high pitches. T.O.P answered, “I feel shy and embarrassed when I sing. There’s this pride I have as a rapper”, whereupon he was interrupted by G-Dragon, who protested, “I also do hip hop!”
Thereupon T.O.P bettered, “G-Dragon and I, both of us get shy when we’re singing.”

Taeyang and Minzy ‘Best Dancing Idols’
Recently five of the top dancing leaders were asked to name the bast dancers on the industry.
Choreography director from JYP Entertainment, YG Entertainment (Lee Jae Wook), SM Entertainment, together with the dance director of Beast (Haw of Prepix) and Secret (Park Sang Hyun) were the ones consulted to find the best dancers.
According to them Taeyang and Minzy are the idols with the right skills for dancing.
Boys: The glamorous Taeyang
Taeyang got 3 votes and the he choreography for YG Entertainment mentioned that he his power and technique accompanied by his facial expression make his unbeatable.
He also has the ability to perform different types of dances, as an example during his solo activities his stle was characterized by Soul and R&B.
A JYP choreographer also praised him saying that he has clear performances that match the music, while the SME representative said that his skills are outstanding.
Other male idol included on the best dancers list was Jay Park, who is good at dancing Old and New School, but still does not go with the usual trend.
Girls: Minzy, BoA and Min
On the girls side there were some conflicted opinions.
At the end Minzy received 2 votes and it was mentioned that she has her own unique style, exceptional talent and very good expressions.

David Winters Offers Taeyang & Jay Park Role in Dance Movie
American dancer, choreographer, producer, director, screenwriter, and actor, David Winters, is hunting for Big Bang’s Taeyang and Jay Park to get them to act in his new dance film which will be called “East Side Story”.
David Winters acted in the musical film of 1961, “West Side Story”, as A-Rab who is the best friend of the youngest member of the Jets, Baby John. Beside being an actor, he is also a choreographer and producer. He produced movies like “Raw Justice” (1994), “Welcome 2 Ibiza” (2002) or “The King Maker” (2005). For his action comedy, “Welcome 2 Ibiza”, he received the “Audience Award” at the Bangkok Film Festival in 2002.
David Winters announced on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook that he is planning to produce a new movie, which will be a dance film. On his Twitter account he tweeted that it’ll be titled “East Side Story” and tell the story of an American girl falling in love with an Asian dancer.
He also tweeted to Big Bang’s Taeyang and Jay Park offering a role in the “East Side Story”. He seems to be really ambitious to get (one of) these Korean artists, who are known for their outstanding dance skills, for his new film.

Taeyang responds to being IU’s ideal type
Big Bang’s appearance on KBS 2FM’s “Lee Soo Young’s Music Show” on March 16th was centered around their 4th mini-album and IU’s recent declaration of Taeyang as her ideal man.
The singer, who has notoriously changed her ideal type several times after her mother’s warnings of repeatedly declaring her love for Taeyang, announced on the March 14th broadcast of MBC’s “Come to Play” that she wouldn’t be changing her mind anymore. She said, “I won’t be changing it anymore. I’m determined to stick with senior Taeyang.”
But even if IU insists she won’t be changing her mind, it seems Taeyang will still be keeping an open mind. The Big Bang member said jokingly, “She’s really not changing? I think she’s going to change…” causing the crowd to laugh. With a little more grace, Taeyang said, “It’s an honor she chose me.”
“I don’t have a set type,” Taeyang offered in response to questions about his own ideal type. “I’m the kind of person to like someone after spending time together and getting close to them.”
